I figure if there's a "Reggie Bush breaks out" thread on this board, then there should be a "Way to go, Marcel Shipp" thread on this board as well. Okay, so Marcel didn't have 160+ yeards, but the team had THREE rushing TDs today. And James had a 100+ yard game today.

It was nice to see!!!

Yay, Marcel!!

At least now we can say "Dec 03, 2006" when some on this board ask this question "So when did Shipp scored last?"... Heh, heh...

I started James bevuase I knew we would get some rushing TD's. If James had 3 tds Id be a lock for my fantasy team playoffs!!!!!

FWIW--

On the occasional times for work when I deal with Cardinals business types, one of the things I ask them is "who are some of the guys on the team you like dealing with"

Marcel's name comes back pretty consistently -- super nice guy, very accomodating, very hard worker-- great person

I have never met him, but I am happy for him

Shipp definitely deserves his props! He always works hard even if it's just on special teams. I hope they resign him next year.

Biggest thing was that - regardless of how he did it - Marcel and his offensive line executed - the holes opened up & Shipp ran through them from as far as 9 yards out. The timing between our O-line and the RB's is beginning to come together.

I'm so proud--

for him, he has taken a back seat to James, and has shown so much class after all he has been through with his bad accident etc. Good for him!! I watched the replay of his first one and the moment he got to the sidelines he had his arm around Edge and a pat on the back as if to say, it's allright. Only missed the fog horn!
