Penn State!!! All right, guys, way to go. Sure, it was a terrible cupcake team, but you did everything right. Flawless QB play, incredible defense, and a potent rushing attack. Looking good going forward, especially with the flaws with Notre Dame and Michigan. Only problem is that it will hurt our SOS when we beat them!

Don't gloat yet, openers can be misleading (gulp! I hope).

Like I said, it was one of the worst of the cupcakes. If our QB had thrown an interception, or if our defense had allowed them to score, then I would have literally been worried. The score line isn't what mattered to me--it was the box score, showing how well we actually performed, that makes me happy.

i must admit i'd have fun on their campus and at the games when I was in college - my school didn't have a team or a campus for that matter - so I had to leech off everyone else

my hating days started as a youngin with PSU and I can't let it go - even if blair thomas stopped by my tailgate to bum a beer and do magic tricks

WE HATE - Penn State

Coming from a Sea Chicken fan, that's like a compliment :D

I seriously don't understand blind hatred for Penn State, though, unless it's because of a rivalry. It's a class program, has a classy coach (donated money for the library personally, no less), and it has classy players. Whenever a player gets in trouble, he is dealt with, and the team is punished as a whole. In fact, after the problems this offseason, coach decided the whole team would clean up the stadium after every home game, and donate all the revenue for doing so to the intramural sports teams, who would usually do the job. Classy.

I can understand if you're a Pitt fan who hates Penn State. Then again, you would already have to be suffering to be a Pitt fan :D

No need to pile on UA, Stout. They've had enough by almost getting shut out by BYU.. :)

This is neither here nor there but it just popped in my head.. How in the hell is the ASU helmet considered gold as everyone says maroon and gold? It looks like a reject Hines mustard color..

ASU colors and uniforms remind me of a high school team without enuff money to get the unis up to standard.. I went a high school were we said we were green and gold, but we clearly werent.. Or is this why ASU accepts anyone? To try and compete with the Jones?

Ya Mustard flies..

At least we are original.

Hmmmm.

Red, white, blue. Where have I seen those colors before? I guess being so close to Mexico, those colors seem foreign.

And the Wildcat. Nice story about "bearing down" and all. Too bad you share a mascot with Villanova, K-state, Northwestern, Kentucky, and probably a thousand high schools around the country.

I don't have any college allegiance but I'll pull for Penn State as long as they're coached by Joe Paterno.

Man, I can understand that. It's why I'm not a Steelers fan, because I was told I must, without question, be a Steelers fan. No thanks.

As long as you respect the program, I'm cool with you not liking us. Of course, God loves Penn State...else why would he make the sky Penn State blue and white? :D

Who cleaned the stadium up after the game?

The Penn State football team did.

Usually, the intramural sports teams would do it, and use the paycheck to help build the intramural program. Since a few select players were involved in that legal incident, though, Joe Pa decided that the football team would do it this year, and instead of taking pay, would let the intramural program have the money instead.

I knew it, I was just joking around. I figured , maybe Old Joe would let the staff do it as a reward for pasting FIU.

Ah, gotcha. Nah, that pasting was exactly what was needed. Sadly, FIU is so bad, that anything less than perfection would have probably marked us down for a long season.
