That should be a playoff team every year if they all could stay healthy for a whole season.

What are those 4 positions and who are those players you ask? Well, allow me to let you state who you would think they may be.

Im assuming

Murray
Nuk
P2
Chandler Jones

But you could swap either of Jones or P2 for Budda.

I think this team has the talent to make a deep playoff run. It's just let down too often by bad coaching.

Don’t have the front 7 or CBs to do it.

Would have to get extremely lucky with forcing turnovers otherwise.

we certainly have the CBs to do it. Just not last week.

I bet our secondary posts top 10 stats the back half of the season. It's a very solid unit. P2, Kirkpatrick, Murphy, Budda, and Jalen might even be a top 5 secondary.

Dont take them for granted guys.

A secondary with Kirkpatrick in it is not a top 5 secondary.

The team has weaknesses for sure, but the offense has been averaging 30+ points a game. You only need a couple of stops like the Seattle game and anything can happen.

It's not a SB winning team by any means, but if we played to our strengths better, had better game plans and stopped crapping the bed with bad coaching decisions in crucial moments it's a team decent enough to get through the wildcard round. It's not a championship game team though for sure.

I said the Miami game will tell us a lot, it did. The Bills game will do the same. It's a team that I think are pretty evenly matched, but I think they have much better coaching which will tip the balance. We shall see.

It doesn't have to be top 5 though does it? Top 15 will suffice. Chiefs won the SB without a great secondary, Niners lost one with.

All depends who you draw in the playoffs too and what the matchup is. As demonstrated in beating the Niners and Seahawks and losing to Lions and Panthers.

Well if we go against a mediocre QB similar to Jimmy G then yea my confidence in the CBs will skyrocket.

ok name 5 better secondarys.... if your worst player is league average then you have a pretty good secondary.

and yes, Kirkpatrick when healthy is league average.

Chargers?

Chargers have been missing Chris Harris and Derwin James and have Casey Hayward and Mike Davis at outside Corner. Plus Nasir Alderley. That's a good secondary when healthy.

We could have a good secondary on paper, I just don't think we scheme very well.
