I wanted Alex Smith in that draft. I remember seeing fans from The U at the Phoenix Zoo who were here for the Fiesta Bowl and asking them if Smith was the real deal.

Rodgers was drafted 16 picks after we drafted Antrelle Rolle; I really don’t have a problem with that. There was a lot of talk at the time that we would take Carr or we should take Bridgewater — both were taken right around when we selected.

Derek Carr is a good QB, and has been since day 1.

We would have been talking about him in our playoff run in 2014...instead of Stanton and Lindley....who knows what happens. Then we would have had him waiting in the wings during Palmers amazing 2015 season
