Good to see us at least kicking the tires on upgrading a position that has been a total liability for us this season, I guess. Ballard's knee might not have fully checked out or maybe we just didn't like what we saw. Tony Scheffler was just cut by the Lions, too.

Not sure thats a lot to be excited about. But he is young and should be completely healed from his ACL by now.

If he is healthy you have a younger version of Anthony Becht. Not saying that is good or bad.

Really wanted him to be healthy and help out the Pats this season but still looked hurt in training camp. Still had a noticeable limp. Some come back better than other from Knee surgery. He looked like it wasn't a completely successful surgery. Wish him all the best but it wasn't looking good last time I saw him. The Pats TE situation was almost as bad as the Cards and they let him walk so I think it's buyer beware.
