I heard from a reliable source that this upcoming MLB draft is supposedly going to be the worst prospects in 20 years. I just wonder if it is because we as a society are getting weaker as pushing kids to get better. Also, with all the technology, kids have all sorts of other things going on. Baseball is one of those sports were it takes a lot of time and have to other kids/people to do it.
And this one may cause some parents to get upset, but all these kids sports now days are not as competitive as it used to be. For instance, there is no score in games because they want to make sure everyone is a winner. Ahh, what? That's not what to teach kids. They need to know that they don't always win, that's life. I cannot recall not keeping score at anything I played growing up. It did not matter what I played, there was always a winner and loser. I was and still am super competitive. Some kids are not meant to play sports.

I run a college baseball league in the summer here in Phoenix for the past 12 years and I have noticed every year that the talent level has gotten weaker. There is always a few players that stand out, but there are far less than it used to be.
