Still not a huge fan of their games but I guess Howland is thinking the 2011 class isn't very strong on the West Coast so better having 2 sophs like the Wears in 2011 than trying to sign freshmen?
UCLA still has one slot left they're still after Remi Barry the French kid that also has ASU and St. Johns in his top 3 (he has a bigger list he named those as his top 3). Barry still has to qualify academically before UCLA could take him but reportedly is much closer to that than originally feared. Given how things have gone of late I don't expect Barry to be a Bruin but you never know.
