Web site: Sharapova to miss Olympics (AP)

Maria Sharapova is pulling out of the Beijing Olympics because of a shoulder injury. The three-time Grand Slam singles champion says on her Web site that medical tests taken Thursday show she has two small tears in her shoulder's tendons. The news comes a day after the Russian pulled out of the WTA tournament in Montreal because of the shoulder.
