To be expected... Webb struggled early. His near record setting scoreless inning streak simply wasn't enough to push him over the edge!

With Jake Peavy winning the triple crown of pitching (wins, ERA and strikeouts), it would have been near impossible for any other pitcher to win.

For Webb to be #2 this year behind that performance is OK.
