Please feel free to write these morons and express your displeasure at leaving Brandon Webb off their ballots for Rookie of the Year:

Marcus Hayes of the Philadelphia Daily News, Fred Mitchell of the Chicago Tribune, Jesus Ortiz of the Houston Chronicle, Bill Shannon of the Sports Press Service in New York, Frank Clines of the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel, Paul Meyer of the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette and Bob Broeg of the St. Louis Post-Dispatch.

Marcus Hayes is an idiot. He never even covered baseball until 2002. He is pretty clueless still about baseball. And he didn't even have the excuse of not seeing Webb, since he pitched twice against the Phillies.

Bob Broeg has covered baseball for many, many years for the St. Louis Globe Democrat. I'd guess his excuse is that he only saw Brandon pitch once.... the last game of the season, which was one of Brandon's worst outings.
