Brandon Webb's shutout streak ended early Wednesday night. The Arizona ace allowed a run in the first, stopping his scoreless string at 42 innings, but won his sixth consecutive start to lead the Diamondbacks past the Milwaukee Brewers 3-2. Chris Young hit his 26th homer for Arizona, which snapped a three-game skid and remained 3 1/2 games ahead of second-place San Diego in the NL West.
