I have optimism also & I can't wait for the draft & FA.
Eh, he didn't even talk to the media in that article. SI made a story out of an optimistic post Carter made on his X page, plus an earlier answer Gannon gave in response to a question about Carter at a press conference a couple weeks ago.
More like, "man SI loves making fluff articles from minimal content."

The drop to 8 is a perfect landing spot. I don't think I would mind that draft at all considering.

Trading down from the elite player zone get a 2025 third in return would be a thing that could happen.
