Thoughts?

This is a pretty good draft. I don't love the Murphy pick at 27 (not convinced he wasn't helped significantly playing next to Sweat), but following it up with Guyton at the top of round 2 makes it more palatable for sure. Not sure why we would need to take 3 corners either (2 I get, 3 seems excessive). But solid players throughout.

Doesn't this kinda invalidate the whole thing?
I started using sportskeeda the other day and I really like it. Tony Pauline's board is the one who is used, and @Harry speaks highly of Pauline IIRC. I think the trades offered are the most realistic I've seen.

One issue that I've seen with all of the mocks, is that even when TWO of the QBs are available, you don't see QB trades come in.

Well I'm specifically suggesting we use that money to upgrade the position. Or several positions.

Great players get cut/traded all the time. It's the business. I don't see why it would affect players coming here.
Normally I'd agree with you. This offseason? With Monti a conservative GM who already has much bigger holes to fill? If they cut him I don't think we get any better at the position. I think the hole is plugged with a cheap vet or later-round rookie. I think if he gets cut we downgrade, at least somewhat. The idea that Monti will cut player X and immediately invest all the saved cap space to upgrade that position is overly optimistic, IMO.

Paying Budda big money makes about as much sense to me as paying Hollywood. The cost just doesn't even come close to matching the production.
Again, cutting/trading him and creating a hole makes us worse. Are you 100 percent certain everything he brings is adequately replaced let alone exceeded? I don't.

I think the past two years he's been a guy who kept a lid on the opposing offense. He actually is a rangy player, even if he's not a ball hawk. We've been running out rookies and garbage at corner with almost no pass rush help the past two years; the safeties have been the guys covering up for poor cornerback play whenever possible, and that's fallen quite a bit on Budda.

Rangy free safeties with poor ball skills that can tackle are ten a penny and can be had for $6m.

It's bad at the top. I just ran a mock and it had Dallas Turner going number 1. If it can't get the the first pick realistic it makes me dubious about the rest.

The best in my opinion is the NFL Mock Draft Database. It's trades are also pretty realistic and the big board it uses is an amalgamation of dozens of big boards from well known analysts.

Why is he a conservative GM? Because he didn't splash out before a known losing season with an injured QB?

You don't get long in this league to get it right. I think Monti is going to be aggressive this offseason.

Do you honestly think he's going to splash out a ton in FA? I don't. I absolutely believe he'll do more than last year--he'd get ridden out of town on a rail if he didn't--but that doesn't mean he'll be aggressive. Aggressive would be to sign 3-4 high level FAs and also sign role player FAs to fill out a lot of the roster--then also sign a better S than BB if we get rid of him. I don't see us doing anything close to that because I see Monti as more leaning on the draft.
