Acho is an excellent replacement for Clark Haggans. Schofield gets Porter's spot. I'd have taken Sam in the 2nd,3rd,4th wherever. I've watched him for years and the guy just has a nose for the football.

Texas defense was awful last season, Earl Thomas leaving early left them with the worst Safeties in the Big XII, and several times during games I made the comment that if it weren't for Sam Acho the scores would be 55-17 instead of 30-17.

Best thing about him being a 4th instead of a 2nd or 3rd is that it greatly increases his chances of being a solid player for us for a long time.

Yup, he's constantly around the football, forcing or recovering fumbles. Probably won't be an elite pass rusher, but 5 or 6 a year is certainly attainable for him.

He goes back to Nigeria every year with his family to do missionary type work. His dads a doctor (his mom maybe too). Great kid and great character. Should be solid starter for us eventually.
