Well...I am in Tampa...arrived this evening.

I found a total of six cards fans tonight in YBOR City. Six...three couples. Probably 50 or so Steelers fans. We should pick an ASFN place as a gather point in YBOR city......I think this is the area alot of us will end up hanging out...there are tons of bars and restaurants and it seems to be where most of the action will be. I was going down to the wings gone wild place - but it was a little to far to drive....will try tomorrow night maybe.

It is kind of raining off and on.....There are alot of Steelers fans around....

I am solo until I pick up another cards fan at the airport tomorrow.

Hang in there, man...

and have the time of your life. WE are in the SUPER BOWL. I imagine you'll start seeing alot MORE "red" tomorrow. In the meantime realize that you're feeling something the Steeler fans can't. For them, it's like been here/ done it before. ...BUT YOU get to experience it all for the 1st time. I ask ya'. WHO's going to ENJOY it MORE??

I would have typed more..but I am having computer problems and it keeps going offline!

At my hotel....there were about 10 Steeler fans standing by the entrance...I came thru and said...OUT OF MY WAY.....they were blocking the path. They started laughing...and said..OMG...the Cardinals have A FAN. Can we take your picture. They claimed I was the first Cardinal fan they had seen. My parting comment was....well...at least I am not stuck in Pittsburgh.

YBOR CIty..if anyone gets here and finds a place they like..please post or send me a PM!!

At YBOR city you can park in one spot and hang out for the night....and have alot of options and activity...

Not sure where YBOR is but we will be in Tampa Saturday (Holiday Inn Express) about 1 mile from Raymond James Stadium

YBOR city is a couple of miles east of downtown. YOu take the 21st street exit off the 4 Freeway and go south. There is a main drag...it goes east and west...tonight there was the EA Madden bowl or something - you needed an invitation to get in. I saw 10 Miller Lite girls pile out of a black escalade...bud girls walking around....three places were closed for private parties. I would assume this is the area with the largest gathering of bars and restaurants in one spot....but I am not sure.... All the hotel folks, cab drivers, locals will know where it is....the hotel front desk said it was where all the action is...

I am sure if you treat the Steeler fans with respect, they will do the same. You usually don't hear of Steeler fans actually accosting other fans, but there are bad apples in every bunch. I hope you have a great time down there, just not to much if you know what I mean.
