Yeah not much yardage but color me surprised. He was not very good in the preseason I fully expected a tough learning year for him but so far he looks pretty good.

Great argument against how we groom QB's today. He was late to the position so no private tutors and special QB camps.

Still can't believe Rams took Goff over Wentz. Wentz looks solid except when he runs to the sideline.

At this point Wentz looks like the next franchise QB. If he doesn't go all RG3 then the Eagles will be contenders for a decade or more.

The Alex Smith comparison looks good except at least so far he's way ahead of Alex. At this time in his career Smith was turning the ball over left and right and looking terrible. Wentz is in a heavily scripted offense going out of their way to put him in good situations, but he's doing very well in said system.

I was very impressed last night. Wentz looks very poised, does not scare easily. Great news that the Rams passed on him.

He has looked good, but only had 190 pass yards tonight.. let's not anoint him just yet

I agree, most of his passes were simple swing passes or quick outs and such. I'm impressed how he handled the no huddle and he did look for second and third options in his check downs however I still want to see him have to throw the ball down field and come from behind before saying he's a gem.

Two games in of course we can't be sure he is the second coming of Farve or Rodgers. Having said that the only weakness he has shown is taking unnecessary hits and he does that because he is one tough sumbitch.

He's already changing plays at the LOS and hasn't thrown a pick yet. He hasn't once shown happy feet of shown any sign of being nervous. The Rams and Browns certainly looked very foolish at this point.

I think if Wentz went to the Rams, we wouldn't be talking about him like this.

Besides Wentz, I think Pederson is going a good job for a first year coach. I don't know much about him, but the Eagles have shown up to play solid football two weeks in a row and with a rookie QB that was supposed to be sitting on the bench this year. Impressive so far.

^this.

Everyone needs to quit acting like Wentz was an amazing prospect over Goff. It was close throughout the entire pre draft process.

Even now, I doubt Wentz would be having anywhere near the success he does now in Jeff Fisher's offense. And who knows, maybe Goff would've looked like Joe Montana in the Eagles offense.

Quite frankly, I don't know if even QBs like Tom Brady, Cam Newton or Aaron Roders would be successful playing for the Rams considering that absolute crap of an O line, receivers and even worse offensive coaches and system.

All this could play out to be true but go ahead and name the elite players on the Eagles Offense. Their Oline is okayish at best and they have no legit skill position weapons.

I keep telling Eagle fans that the good news is that they haven't played anybody yet. Now, if Wentz looks good against Pittsburgh then we'll talk.
