We're gonna meet them in the playoffs

Mike Jurecki just reported that he talked to Denny Green after the game Sunday, and asked him how they stopped Mike Vick. Denny said he couldn't tell him till after the season, because "we're gonna meet these guy's in the playoffs."

I love Denny's attitude.

We can only lose 4 MORE games ... to end up 9-7.

And you have to wonder how much Green really hates Jurecki . . . I am starting to find Jurecki and the entire Arizona Republic writing staff annoying.

I thought the article this morning on Green taking blame was a joke. Green did all the right things to win that game. It's not his fault his QB and wide receivers fumbled 3 times.

I have absolute faith in DG but the statements he keeps making are making me cringe - so a team that has scored two TDs in three games and is 0-3 is going to go 9-4 in their next 13 - not saying I wouldn't be happier than a pig in ****, but come on now . . . oh - and why the hell isn't LJ starting?!

A coach turning around a crappy team has to have that kind of confidence. He may not believe it inside, but I think he has to say those kinds of things to let this team know he expects a drastic turn around. Keep the pressure on.

I'd rather him say that than, "we're shooting for 6-10, although I'll have a great summer if we are 5-11".

Jurecki kinda corrected himself, without making it obvious, but he did change it up and say "in case we see them in the playoffs" this is all part of what Jurecki does, he drops BS out there for people to run with.
