We're the Millers

Release Date: August 7, 2013
Studio: New Line Cinema (Warner Bros.)
Director: Rawson Marshall Thurber
Screenwriter: Bob Fisher, Steve Faber, Sean Anders, John Morris
Genre: Action, Comedy
MPAA Rating: R (for crude sexual content, pervasive language, drug material and brief graphic nudity)
Website: WeretheMillers.com

Starring: Jennifer Aniston, Jason Sudeikis, Emma Roberts, Nick Offerman, Kathryn Hahn, Will Poulter, Ed Helms

Plot Summary: David Burke (Jason Sudeikis) is a small-time pot dealer whose clientele includes chefs and soccer moms, but no kids—after all, he has his scruples. So what could go wrong? Plenty. Preferring to keep a low profile for obvious reasons, he learns the hard way that no good deed goes unpunished when he tries to help out some local teens and winds up getting jumped by a trio of gutter punks. Stealing his stash and his cash, they leave him in major debt to his supplier, Brad (Ed Helms). In order to wipe the slate clean—and maintain a clean bill of health—David must now become a big-time drug smuggler by bringing Brad’s latest shipment in from Mexico. Twisting the arms of his neighbors, cynical stripper Rose (Jennifer Aniston) and wannabe customer Kenny (Will Poulter), and the tatted-and-pierced streetwise teen Casey (Emma Roberts), he devises a foolproof plan. One fake wife, two pretend kids and a huge, shiny RV later, the "Millers" are headed south of the border for a Fourth of July weekend that is sure to end with a bang.

Jennifer Aniston is hit and miss and I DO NOT find Jason Sudeikis funny one bit. Although I commend him for landing Olivia Wilde....bastard.

Having said that the trailer looked amusing. I will wait until the reviews hit before I even consider.

She never does I was just making a really stupid joke for the heck of it. :D

Watch The Good Girl.

Also, saw this last night. It was pretty funny. When she strips, though, it is pretty stilted and not really sexy. More like a baby giraffe learning how to walk for the first time.

Saw this tonight. Thought it was really funny. I was afraid that ALL the funny parts were in the preview as tends to happen but there was a lot of other stuff and the blooper reel at the end was great.

I liked it!

fun movie, finally saw it. Was well entertained. It has a few scenes where you have to just let it be a movie and not use logic but beyond thats, its a good movie.

Enjoyed it. No ragrets. Know what im sayin?

This had a really slow start but once the road trip started we thought it was funny. Much better than the reviews made it out to be.

I really wanted to like this flick, but came away very disapointed.

makes me curious what you expected? it was fun and worth the dollar rental i thought

Just plain awful. Made Stolen Identity look like a classic.

Weird to see such negative comments. Going overboard with adam sandler was aweful, you didnt find it entertaining or funny in any way?

I thought it was worth the buck and time to watch it

A lot of slow bits during the movie and a couple of forced chuckles ... but also a few funny scenes and some good interaction between the cast

However, my favorite part was delivered by my 2 1/2 year old son

He started crying out pretty good during the movie which we started after putting the kids to bed ....... went into his room and tried to get him calmed in his chair in there, but didn't work ..... so I let him lay with me on the couch

He calmed down, snuggled in and was breathing like he was asleep for a little bit ...... I was comfortable and figured that I'd just bring him back to his room the next time I needed to get up, but no worries because he was sleeping

So it gets to the Jennifer Aniston strip scene - right at the point where they have the water starting and I hear a little giggle from my chest with a "she's naked" - I look down and he lifts his head with a big grin .......... as I'm taking him into his room he's asking if I'll play that song again
