Was it really necessary to go for 2 at that juncture of the game? IMO is was a dick move and when we play them next season we should do to them what Sam Wyche did to the Houston Oilers in a game they beat them 61-7 and did an onsides kick up 45-0. Seriously, the game was out of reach and there was no reason to rub the Cards' noses in it at that point. This is why I hope Denver knocks Carolina around and smack that smug smile off of Newton's face.

I think they were, the 2-point conversion was in poor taste.

But then again, our defense wasn't doing much to try to stop them.

Maybe their kicker's leg was tired from all the kickoffs and extra points.

After last week IMO they went in to this week all out to the very end. That team was ready to play. The difference was huge. Good for them I hope we learned something.

Yes. They were running up the score. And they didn't have to try very hard to do it.

There's no such thing as running up the score. If you don't like it.... stop them. If you can't.... shut up.

Going for 2 up 20+ isn't part of the game nor is taking group photos with over 2 mins left.
Can't believe I have to root for Denver.

did you get upset when dan williams was eating skittles celebrating before the game was over when we beat Seattle?

The game was far beyond over at the two minute mark, should they just sit around with straight faces until its over?

Complaining about running up scores and excessive celebration is only something losers do. Even in defeat, I am not going to whine.

Agree completely...

Peterson was taunting with the pick 6 that was called back last week...

We got beat and beat bad. It was the Panther's prerogative to do as they pleased. If the coaches and players are bitter over it, then they can do something about it the next time they play them.

Arians passes and goes for TDs when we're up 20 plus points in the 4th...

How is anyone really complaining about this??

Its the NFL.

If they were, there is only one thing the Cardinals can do about it, deal with it.

So many salty fans here and other Cards gathering places. Where were they when we were trouncing some of the teams we did this year? Throwing when we were up big like Shane said, or challenging a safety towards the end of the game when it was pretty much over? Take the loss and deal with it. These are professionals, not little leaguers or unbalanced high school teams. I haven't heard our team bitching about it (maybe someone did and I'll be corrected here), so I don't understand why fans do this crap. Stop somebody if you don't want to get embarrassed, or **** if you get destroyed like we did. I hope Carolina does the same thing to Denver and sends Payton and his big ass head into retirement.

Complaining about running up the score is for losers. We got spanked. Period.

Congrats to them. Move on. I am embarrassed by this thread. Its like having your mother run on to the field to check out your owie.

Agree 100%

I seem to remember us doing things like this. You know who complains after blowouts? Losers

The radio broadcast even mentioned how classless these actions were.

I'd never put on the brakes if I were a head coach, but I don't think I'd go for 2 with the game already out of reach. That is *******. Just kick the PAT.

Not complaining about a blowout. They happen but going for 2 was in poor taste. There simply was no need. Scoring a TD is one thing. Going for 2 is rubbing your nose in it. Karma begets karma and Carolina will get karma at some point.

Exactly. There is a difference between keeping your foot on the gas and being an ass. Call it what you want. There is no legit reason to do it in that scenario. I don't care if the kickers leg was broke. So we can sit here and pretend it's a part of the game and all that bull but I don't ever remember BA or any respectable coach going for two in this type of scenario unless he had an axe to grind.

Bingo. I wanted someone to run up and put a helmet in Newton's knee at that point, and for someone to 'accidentally' roll into the sidelines and roll up Riverboat Ron. I don't like it when we do it--it embarrasses me when my own teams show a lack of class--and I hate it when other teams do it. Yeah, stopping them cures the issue, but there's only one person who can decide when an individual is classy--that very individual.
