WEST LAFAYETTE ― The lineage of the Shondell family will preside over the growth of girls volleyball in West Lafayette, albeit through a different face and across the street from Purdue.

Former Purdue setter Lindsay Morgan was announced as the next West Lafayette girls volleyball coach Monday night.

Morgan is the daughter of Purdue head women's volleyball coach Dave Shondell and played for Purdue between 2003-06, making two Sweet 16 appearances after starting her career at Cal State Fullerton.
