Did you see Geno Smith today lay 70 on the Bears? Get this:

45 for 51, 656 yds, 8 TDs

Could be the best QB performance I have ever seen. Some NFL team is drooling at the thought of drafting him. I suppose Cleveland could be first in line.

Yep I've seen him every game this year & was probably the first to say here this is the QB to keep your eye on in the 2013 draft. :D

I'm curious if there has ever been another major college QB that had at least 50 passing attempts and ended up with more TD's than incompletions.

Kurt Warner did it I believe against the Pack in the playoffs ;)
If also pretty sure RGIII did it last year also & mayb more than once

Warner only had 33 attempts in the playoff game, but did have more TD's than incompletions.

RGIII only had one game with 50 attempts and in that game he had 17 incompletions and only 1 TD.

Maybe not 50 attempts but both did & as I said RGIII did it more than once

Dude is putting on a clinic this year. Where as Barkley is fading, Logan Thomas completely sucks hard core, Taylor Bray is inconsistent, and Tyler Wilson hasnt been able to stay on the field and when he has been has been very average.

A year that looked like it was going to be a boost to the the talent level in the NFL has so far been a flop IMO.

Give a little respect to the Baylor QB too.

Cant just say "Geno put up 70 on Baylor!"

Well, Baylor put up 63 on WV.

Both QBs had monster games. Geno cemented the Heisman. Barkley fell off, dont know what happened to him this year.

For as good as Geno is, I think today was mostly the defenses. That Baylor D was like watching a HS team D vs a Pro team.

Very curious to see if Genos game transfers to the NFL. That deep ball isnt there every play in the NFL. Hes very, very accurate, but it also seemed like his O line gave him all day.

What a freakin' train-wreck Arkansas is!! I seriously don't know how much you down grade Wilson for this year -- the whole team has quit on their certifiably insane interim coach.

That's not football.

I beg to differ...didn't the Cards win an NFL playoff game 51-45 just 3 short years ago? It's just the way the game is played today...unless your the Az Cardinals of 2013 :D

Its college, hence the score.

Good stats none the less, but against a NFL defense is another story.

I have no idea what has happened with Tyler Wilson...team quitting, injuries hurting performance, bad supporting cast, I have no idea but I did see the guy play well before and he just might be a 2nd or 3rd round steal.

Losing the top 3 weapons from last year (2 WR, TE) plus the HC who's offense it is, definately didn't help.

I still believe Smith is taking the same path that RGIII did...getting better each season & likely a top 2 pick which I said earlier in the year. Peeps who've overlooked Geno & his skills before today obviously havent seen him play very much.

What's amazing to me there was enough time in the game to score that many points.

Geno Smith a a fantastic athlete, but he just fits the WVU system perfectly. I've seen him embarrassed by real defenses in the past. Not sold on him as an NFL star just yet. BTW, Baylor's D is simply pathetic.

Nobody in College can tackle one on one. I'm surprised there aren't more KO returns for TDs. Haven't seen anyone wrap up all day.
