Terribly slow and not instinctive. Plays well when the play is in front of him but is not a willing tackler. Lacks upper and lower body strength. Relegated to strictly a zone player as he does not possess the speed, flex to transition from back pedal, or make up speed to play man.

This being said, I still think he is a good developmental project for zone heavy schemes.

I saw him projected as a 3-4 round pick in some circles.

This draft class was a complete mess when trying to do projections. This was the first draft in a long time that really didn't have much if any concensus. Many that were projected to be as high as 2-4 round picks became UDFA's.
