I would probably do it, but I don't know if the Phoenix Suns would. I'm also pretty sure that he would not sign that deal. My guess is that he will end up back in Detroit for a contract that starts $8-10 million.

The reports out of Detroit are that they offered Okur the maximum they could under the MLE. That's relevant because they theoretically would have cap space of almost $11 million if they did not retain Wallace's Bird rights. If they are keeping his Bird rights, it means they are prepared to give Sheed a pretty good sized contract - way out the Suns price range.

If Detroit passes on Rasheed we better jump over him. He'd be a nice triple threat with Marion and Amare.
