Every playoff series comes with its own set of questions, concerns and reasons to be optimistic. The Boston Celtics' upcoming series against the Orlando Magic is no different. Joe Mazzulla's team is chasing a second straight championship and is expected to quickly put the series to bed. The Magic are fighting to earn much-needed playoff experience and prove the current roster is on the right path, developmentally speaking.
Of course, the series isn't without its premier matchups. Jayson Tatum and Paolo Banchero will be the headlining battle, while Jaylen Brown vs. Franz Wagner and Payton Pritchard vs. Cole Anthony are matchups that could also prove to be box office. Both teams boast talented rosters with clear skill sets. Furthermore, both rosters have an elite-level calling card. For Boston, it's their floor spacing and perimeter shooting, and for the Magic, it's their defense, specifically on the perimeter.
