What are the most universally-appealing songs ever made?

I have this theory that there are a handful of songs that 99% of people like.

Case in point, some kids in my school hating country music, but they all liked Charlie Daniels' Band's "The Devil Went Down to Georgia".

All the cowboys hated rap, but loved Digital Underground's "The Humpty Dance".

These are the only two I have been able to come up with. Discuss.

HOLY CRUD!! I heard (and listened to) this song on the radio this morning. I haven't heard or thought about it for at least 10 years, and now twice in one day!

Crazy.

I forgot "Dancing Queen" by Abba. Every chick loves this song and guys love that chicks act all crazy when it comes on.
