What are the odds we are still a bad team in a coupe years if we have Booker, Zion, and Ayton?

I'm still a little surprised how poorly the Suns did this year, although they look like they are turning it around... If we were to get Zion, and he plays anything like a 1st round pick, and we find some decent role players, I would be very surprised if we still suck.

I think we should most likely move on from our head coach and get a real general manager. I think we should have enough talented players if we get lucky in this draft (Zion or Morant) unless either one flops as a 1st or 2nd, or 3rd... lets hope to god they pick in the top three though..Although there are always surprise players..we could look back in this draft and a player could very well be better than the top 3 picked..

I agree with you and suggest that is the likelihood because the missing piece, in that scenario, would still be an NBA Point Guard.

As another poster referred to, a football team could have ten good players on the offense, but without a real Quarterback, they would be limited.

Without a skilled Point Guard for this young team (and another high draft pick on the horizon), there is no reason to believe it would not be the same-old/same-old.

Case in point? The opinion that Ayton's progress has been disappointing. Why is that? Because the Coach doesn't have the players to maximize his growth potential.

But Igor has not shown the skills to make things happen. He is way too passive to be a difference maker. He doesn't fit the needs of this team. With the turnover of GM's, that is no surprise.
