No. 7 Michigan State basketball takes on No. 10 Harvard in the first round of the women's NCAA tournament on Saturday.

The Spartans earned their highest postseason seed in nine seasons after going 21-9 in the second season under head coach Robyn Fralick.

Harvard finished 24-4 and won the Ivy League conference tournament for the Crimson's first tournament appearance in 18 years.

Michigan State, led by veterans Julia Ayrault, Grace VanSlooten and Theryn Hallock, looks to make it out of the first round for the first time since 2019. The Spartans had success with a fast-paced style leading to a top-15 scoring offense in the country.
