1. Carson Palmer is better than I ever thought he was.
2. Tyrann Mathieu is as important to our team as Patrick Peterson.
3. The better year we have and further we advance in the playoffs the more upset and irrational our fans get when we lose.

1. David Johnson will be a top 3 RB by 2017, maybe even this year along with Le'Veon & Gurley.

2. Deone Bucannon is a better ILBer than Kevin Minter.

3. We need the trio Pat Pete, Tyrann, and Tony Jefferson to stay together for a very long time.

I truly believed all year this team was good enough to win the Super Bowl. Each week they got better, as a team as the stakes were raised with each big win.

1) Fitz is still beastly. I said it last year when 3/4 of this board wanted to part ways because of age & production. Let's hope he retires a Card & gets that hard to get ring

2) Carson Palmer is a stud. He's the perfect fit for BA's offense & will be even more determined to prove his doubters wrong once again just like he did after his 2nd knee surgery.

3) we finally have a legit RB in The horse. Nuff said

4) our weaknesses on both offense & defense were exposed in the NFC championship. The Oline particularly at C & RG need to be addressed & likely will be.

The defense lacks speed off the edge & along the DLine which most already knew. But it also lacks some nastiness & needs some new talent thru draft or FA. The D also needs some more ILB help because I'm not sure Buc & Minter are good enough to dethrone the Panthers. The secondary needs another quality CB as well.

5) fire the ST coach please! Too many breakdowns & never anywhere to run on returns. Add a PR & KR as well.

6) this team wears down after the long 16 game season. Happened last year & happened this year. Why? Maybe too many snaps or conditioning?

didn't really learn anything except that this team is here to stay for the next two years... as long as Palmer didn't get Delhomme Disorder after the last game.

also learned that it doesn't hurt NEARLY as much to lose a game as big as the NFC Title game when you're just clearly not as good as the team that won. I remember being UBER depressed after the Super Bowl, but have already moved on from last season and looking forward to the next.

1: Edge rusher was an area of concern last season as well but was ignored again this season and we paid dearly.

2: Tyrann Mathieu, as SBF said, is a huge cog in our defense.

3: Jared Veldheer ran out of gas toward the end of the season.

I don't think any of us knew befor the game that we were not nearly as good. I sure didn't and expected a much better showing. Maybe that's why I'm still bummed about the loss.

Definitely learned you cannot get to big dance if you cannot protect QB and vice versa. Need a big time edge rusher to force poor decisions by opposing QB

1. The Carolina defense is something else.

That will remain the #1 sticking point through next year as well in the NFC.

I thought we'd have to play our A game to beat them... and really, in my heart of heart thought they were a better team. They really don't have any holes in their game. They can attack the QB, stop the run, run the ball at will, can stretch the field with Ginn and kill people underneath with Olson. Throw HFA into the mix and it was an uphill battle. I wanted to believe in all my heart, but my head (and our performance in the two weeks prior) kept telling my different.

Totally agree with all these points. Couldn't have put it better myself.

#6 is true. BASK needs to figure out how to combat this.

Right on. Two years in a row of a very good team running out of gas at the end. Perhaps pounding lesser teams during the regular season isn't the smartest idea (i.e. how about beating the Bears or Niners by 20 instead of 30 or 40?).

That's the thing. We are as good as they are. They just wanted it more. We came out flat, unsure, vanilla. They came out firing. And they made fewer mistakes. We had our chances to get back the momentum and take control of the game but we failed. Had PP not fumbled that punt or had Ginn not caught him on his INT or if Palmer didn't make a horrible throw at the end of the half. There are so many if's it's not funny. But the truth be told, we belonged in that game and we failed to grasp it. Are they good? Damned right they are but they are not 34 points better than us. They were hungrier and it showed.

When we ran between the tackles, we moved the ball. Where we got into trouble is when we tried to run on the outside. I don't understand why BA didn't stick to running between the tackles.

They're not 34 points better then us, but IMO, they are clearly better. Their lone weakness is in their secondary, but even there they have one of the best CB in the game and their pass rush can make up for their deficiencies there.

And big game ability that they showed and we didn't at all in the playoffs is another factor that favors them. If you truly believe they "wanted it
More" and were inspired and we came out flat, that speaks VOLUMES about the mental makeup of both teams, which is a major part of the game.

1. No matter how good our secondary is, we can't win a championship without a pass rush.

2. We are going to score a buttload of points next year.

Pass rusher. Once we get that everything else will fall into place.

That the Cardinals franchise isn't ready to wear the big boy pants, yet. In the NCCG they looked like a 3yr old trying to put pants on one leg at a time w/o holding on to anything and falling flat on their face.

Highlight this and send this to Keim and the great thing is that I actually think Keim sees this too. This is the best post of our current situation... my sentiments exactly!

No, winning 14 games and having winning seasons back to back shows that you are one of the big boys and there is no argument to suggest otherwise... we are just not the biggest boy and have to get that damn pass rush some how established

1) Arians actually got outcoached in a game this season.
2) Bethel doesn't have it to be a #2 corner.
3) Losing Mathieu hurt this defense more than we already knew it would.
4) Our pass rush situation is downright pathetic.
5) Either Palmer's finger was hurting him, or he got a bad case of the yips to end the season.
6) I hope we have to go to Carolina again next year, as third time is a charm.
