So with

Greinke
Miller
Corbin

as the 1, 2, 3

and

Bradley
Shipley
De La Rosa
Anderson
Godley
Chacin

to fill the 4 & 5, what do we do with the remaining 4 SP's?

Think Chacin is already gone. The rest will compete for the 4th and 5th spots, which I don't think Ruby and Ray have on lock down, another will be long relief and I Shipley and Godley will probably start off the year in the minors.

Ruby and Ray will start the year at the 4 & 5 unless someone shows something ridiculous in spring training. The other guys will continue to develop, and someone may move to relief. I personally believe Bradley or Godley or both will be in the rotation by the end of the year. I could see Anderson moving to long relief with the Tomahawk.

Gotta get Bradley in as the #4. Anderson, Ray, or Godley at #5 is fine.

I think Ruby would be a really good reliever to face right handed batters in the late innings. If Bradley doesn't work out in the rotation, he would be an outstanding closer.

If Bradley can't crack the starting rotation, I wouldn't mind if they give him a shot at the closer position.

If Bradley can't crack the rotation it'll be due to his control problems. They sure as hell putting him at closer if that's the case. Hopefully he gets his mind right after that comebacker last year and can perfect his slider.

Archie has a lot to prove and his spot in the rotation is far from a guarantee. Robbie Ray should be the #4 and then everyone else can duke it out for the fifth slot. Clearly the FO is serious about winning now and with these new additions they're better off letting Archie figure out his control in the minors rather than the majors. If he can't get the BB rate figured out there it's not going to get any better in the bigs.
