I wouldn't give any more than that (2 yrs.). It would hamper what you could offer next yr. with possibly better talent available. Garza is barely a #2. So is Jimenez, imo.

Has Arroyo been signed yet? If not, I would prefer Bronson over Garza as, with Arroyo, we're pretty much guaranteed 200 innings per season. With Garza, you just can't rely on his health...

I like Arroyo, but he has been linked to the Dodgers, which means they will give the 36 year old a 4 or 5 deals to get him.

The Brewers have agreed to sign free agent starter Matt Garza on a four-year, $52MM deal, reports Ken Rosenthal of FOX Sports (via Twitter). News of the club's pursuit of the 30-year-old righty was first reported by MLB.com's Brewer Nation blog.
