What happened to Free Radio?

I try listening to Extra Sports 910 here in Phoenix in the morning, but sometimes, I can't take Bickley...so I switch to the Adam Carolla show on Free FM. But it looks like the station is off the air now and the new format is some dance music BS.

Does anyone know what happened to Free Radio FM?

not too happy about this either. although not GREAT radio, it was certainly tolerable during my morning and evening drives.

agreed. i will miss a little of the Adam Corrolla show though.

funny thing is that this talk radio stuff has completely tanked on ClearChannel....especially when they've converted a music radio station to talk radio

Hear the Adam Carolla Show every morning from 5am-10am, streaming live on 97.1 KLSX, SoCal's FM Talk Station. You can also hear The Tom Leykis Show streaming live from 3pm-8pm on the same station.

Some of you cheered when Stern was chased away from free radio. Most of you shruged off the Imus issue at the time as inconsequantial. But now the chill of the FCC and the dumbing-down of content is in full effect.

Death to ClearChannel. Death to the corporatization of entertainment.
