I posted this another thread. But felt it requires its own thread.

Apart from a super bowl win, the baseline for Wilks to be considered a success is better than 50 wins in 5 years and more than 1 playoff win?

That would be a HUGE success by AZ Cards standards and make him the winningest coach in team history

Aside from the Pats and maybe the Steelers, exceeding 50 wins in 5 seasons would be a "HUGE" success by any teams' standards... no?

I would take those results in a second. Means we are in the mix each and every year..

Being able to make defensive adjustments unlike our current DC. I want to see a hungry defense too, not this zone garbage we had all season. But I want teams to fear our defense and I certainly don't want garbage QB's like Tom Savage looking like Tom Brady against us.

Until we know what Keim does, there’s no way to provide a fair number. If they get a reasonable candidate for QBOTF, developing that guy in house would be a huge step forward.

no one knows how he's gonna do. He's got no qb, no o line and no TE. Maybe he talked Keim and MB into winning games 3-0.

I don't care if we got Billy boy from the Patriots, you can't win with the fools the Cardinals currently have.

Building a defense that causes fear to opponents. A much tougher unit. Our defense has always been above average in recent years, but really not feared by opponents.

Finding a legit franchise QB asap!

Fixing our woeful special teams!

Good question.

I have no answer. I think the easiest answer is Super Bowl. When you are a franchise that doesn't have that yet, I think that is the top of the list.

Personally, to look at it from a business perspective ? Does he field a team that is competitive week in, and week out that it makes it worth my time and money to watch ?

As much as I liked Arians, the last season was a tough one to watch until the last few games. That was not a successful season.

A deep playoff run in the next 2-3 years, where we're actual contenders. More winning records than losing over the first four years of his contract.

It might seem obvious but it starts with success within the division for me. They have to be able to beat someone besides the 49ers which in itself isn't even a given anymore.

I don't want to see the Rams beating the brakes off of us like they did last season. Even if they lose, they need to at least be competitive. Averaging 3 and a half Ws or better in the division over the next few years will be key.
