Why, so that Ford, Chevy, and Dodge can say they beat Toyota at something?

Toyota will soon be the largest car manufacturer in the world, primarily because they continue to gain marketshare from the rest of the automakers. Like it or not, it's reality.
Drop Chevy and Dodge and you got it...

I like the fact that Toyota has been allowed to compete in the Nextel Cup for the same reason that I like that Juan Pablo Montoya came into NASCAR...diversity makes for better competition and legitimacy.

TRD takes racing on all levels very seriously, but I think that Toyota will take some lumps this year, and lots of them!

The pessimist in me sees Chevy finding some sort of way to hamstring TRD if Toyota ends up with a winning product, just like they did with Dodge when it came to the Superbird and the Hemi.

Montoya seems to be a pretty cool cat...

I agree.

I hate Chevy. It killed me when JGR went Chevy and not Ford or Dodge. I kinda hope Toyota gives Chevy a run for their money.

Why not let all car manufacturers compete? Doesn't make sense to me. (not a fan of the sport)

I don't hate Chevy, I just prefer Ford. I'm looking forward to the new Camero coming out. I like the Vette's especially the Z06 (all 500hp!!!). Hell, I even like Jr.

The first thing Toyota has against them is Michael Waltrip. Sure he's won some races but he and his cohorts are going to get there butt's handed to them. I've been following track testing a little and Toyota is sucking wind on most outings.

To quote Robbie Gordon: "Michael Waltrip is a piece of ****!"

He's so phony. You always see him as some sort of great family man, but I know for fact he's a philandering idiot.

Robbie Gordon's a douchebag.

Maybe, but when I met him out in the dunes outside of Yuma he seemed pretty cool. He didn't come on to a friend of mine's wife like a freight train right in front of him!

I like Robbie "I'm going to drive through you and laugh as I do' Gordon. He isn't your typical whiner.

He's an agrogant prick, but he hung with us for about an hour a couple of years ago, showed off his AWESOME Tundra, and he and his two grilfriends took some photos with us.

He's an awesome talent behind the wheel, and I give him credit for being the only owner/driver left in the Cup.

LOL! Yeah, Robbie can be as ass, but I've met him twice and he was pretty cool both times. Stayed longer to sign autographs than he had to.

Boogity, boogity, boogity!

Woo hoo! Can't wait to hear DW say those words.

Yeah, I hear that. And he really kicks ass on the road courses.

We agree way too much...we should go out or something...do you think my wife would be upset? ;)

Any whoo...

I doubt you'll see a Camry do better than 15th for a while, there's just too much to "tweak" until that line becomes competive...

Yeah, I am sure the Camry will go through lots of tweaking. I just hate that Chevy wins manufacturer's points every year. Of course, I don't mind Chevy so much when it's the 20 car crossing the finish line first. :)

Toyota's drivers are not to talented, I think Brian Vickers would be the best out of them
