Following Denver's loss there are now only three unbeaten teams in the NFL.

1. The Pats have dominated and are by far the best team I have seen out there.
2. The Panthers have come from behind to win most of their games, and have shown incredible resilience. As of right now, they are clearly the team to beat in the NFC.
3. The Bengals have been, imho, the second best team in the league. Andy Dalton has been phenomenal, their offense is well rounded and has worked agains opposing defenses. Their weakness lies in their defense and the fact that they have not played a team like the Cardinals that is top 5 in both defense and offense yet.

The Bengals have played the:
- 2nd ranked defense (Seattle) and won by 3. Seattle ranks 13th in offense.
- 13th ranked defense (Bills) and won by 13. Buffalo ranks 23rd in offense.
- 17th ranked defense (Chiefs) and won by 15. Kansas ranks 21st in offense.
- 20th ranked defense (Chargers) and won by 6. Sand Diego ranks 1st in offense.
- 25th ranked defense (Ravens) and won by 4. Baltimore ranks 10th in offense.
- 26th ranked defense (Raiders) and won by 20. Oakland ranks 9th in offense.
- 28th ranked defense (Browns) and won by 21. Cleveland ranks 26th in offense.

Other than Seattle, they have not faced a very good defensive team this season. Their deep wins have come against teams that are terrible in both ends of the field.

I believe the Cardinals should be able to win this game simply by limiting TO's. And with Green Bays demise in the last two games, the Cardinals should clearly be the second team in the conference both in quality and standings.

That info will be good in 2 weeks when we play the Bengals. We have to beat Seattle first tho. :)

My bad. I somehow skipped that we play Seattle before we play the Bengals.

Just having fun with ya. I agree with you assessment. Cincy has gotten it done, got to had it to them, but I've watched several of their games this year and they are definitely beatable.

I hope we beat Seattle for obvious reasons, but among them is the dream scenario where Cincy is still unbeaten and the Cardinals hand them their first loss on national TV to go to 8-2.

That's exactly what I was happy about this week. Now I have to watch the freaking Seahawks. How I hate them.

It would be awesome to win two Sunday night games back to back!

I think we have the ability to beat the Hawks this weekend. We have a great defense that has only allowed a 34.7% completion rate beyond 10 yards. Here's a cool rundown of our passing defense map:

Trends Heading into SNF

Buck the Trends: The Past Means Nothing

History
The all-time series is tied 16-16.
Seattle is 9-4 against Arizona at CenturyLink Field (10-7 all-time at home).
Over the last 2.5 seasons, Seattle is 28-3 at home, including playoffs (AZ, DAL, CAR beat them).
Under Arians, the Cardinals are 11-10 on the road in the Arians era, including playoffs.
Cardinals are 3-3 on SNF since 2006 (counting postseason).
Seattle is 10-5 on SNF since 2006 (counting postseason).

Weather
Dome teams win less than 30% of their road games when played in temperatures between 31 -40 degrees. However, if the temp rises above 41 degrees, the winning percentage shoots up to north of 40%. The temperature Sunday will be 38-47. Kind of an important swing.

Performance
Arizona has the #4 passing offense (YPG). Seattle has the #2 passing defense (YPG).
Seattle has the #3 rushing offense (YPG). Arizona has the #4 rushing defense (YPG).
Arizona is the second-worst team at fumbling with 1.9 per game
Seattle is fourth-best at fumbling with 0.8 per game.

Miscellaneous
Seahawks are 1-4 in games officiated by Clete Blakeman, the official assigned to SNF.

Great stats. Cards need to come out and put to them early

One more:

Since 2003, the Seahawks are 8-7 after a Bye. (I assume they are including years when a team has a bye during a WC weekend in the playoffs).

Cards are 5-7. (1-1 under Arians)

Can we ban this guy yet? 4 posts that all say pretty much the same thing and all link to his pass defense map.

Cool if you post it once, annoying if that's all you do.

The meaning of this game is simple

Are we contenders or pretenders? The outcome of the next two games makes it clear!

The national media IS READY to jump on board the AZ Cardinals Band Wagon IF, again IF we win the next two.

If we win the next two...we will hear more about the AZ Cardinals than we've heard in our lifetime.

If not....it's back to anonymity.

We can really add to the hype for the Bengals game especially if we both win this weekend on national TV. That would be nice for a change!

I think we've got a good shot of beating the Hawks, it's gonna come down to 2 factors: how well we pass block & how well we contain Wilson on the read option.

We will beat the Bengals :p

It will all come down to how well our crap center handles the pressure and crowd noise if Lyle sits this one out lol
