1. 49ers
2. Seahawks
3. Rams

That is my order. I cannot stand Vernon Davis and his showboating antics. Also, I've grown to hate Nate Clements because he always get into a shouting match with one of our receivers.

We had better start hating the Hawks because they keep winning this divsion. I hate the Lambs most because we used to reside in St. Lou.

1-Lambs
2-Hawks
3-Niners

Seattle without a doubt..

1. Seattle
2. San Francisco
3. St. Louis

Previously, I had number 2 and 3 reversed, but after this year when the 49'ers beat us twice, they moved to #2. :bang:

1. 49ers ~ They suck, yet they always have our number when we play.
2. Seahawks ~ Jealousy.
3. Rams ~ I don't really care about the Rams, so they're here by default.

i don't know what it is but for some reason I just don't HATE any of these teams. It's weird. Back in the NFC East days, I LOATHED the Cowboys with a passion (don't care one way or another about them so much anymore) and really disliked everyone else in it. Maybe it's because that division was so freaking tough and it had characters to hate (Buddy's Eagle Hit Squads, Jerry Jones, The Hogs) but no one in this division is really even good enough for me to hate that much. Maybe it's because for the most part, everyone in our division, save the Niners, were somewhat similar as I grew up watching football... in other words, they were all bad. And I just can't hate the Niners considering how pathetic they've become in relative terms to the rest of their history.

Good point cheese. I still hate the Skins just because of that. As far as now goes, I got a real problem with the Rams. The Niners are about average for me, but the Hawks are making a strong case for some Philly hatred with the way they were mugging for the camera as they were whuppin our azz.

A good rivalry takes years, if not decades to establish. Since we have only been part of this thrown together division with these teams since 2002, the intensity hasn't developed and there isn't enough motivation to hate a particular team over another. Plus, the Cardinals just haven't been very good since then either, which is also a detriment to building a rivalry.

For now, the answer is simply whichever team is challenging us next or standing in the way of a goal. You could make a case for the Seahawks by the way they have owned the division lately, but the Cards haven't exactly been up there fighting with them for it either. Perhaps the 49ers because they have beaten us when they shouldn't have and made a significant impact on the direction of our season.

I'll say the Rams, because we play them next week and they scare the hell out of me right now, especially with the way they are hanging in there with the Steelers tonight.

I feel the same way. Maybe it is because I live away from the team but I dont feel any burning hatred like what I experienced with Dallas and Washington. I remember as a kid after Cards lost last second game to Dallas that was played in Busch going to my room and balling my head off. My parents threatened to not let me watch anymore. I am an adult now and sadly cant see a win or loss impacting me like that anymore but football will never be like it was for me. I guess if I broke out crying at the bar watching the game I might get asked to leave, lol. I guess everybody has to grow up.

I still remember the lineup from the 1979 baseball Cardinals and many of their opponents. The images are as clear as if they occurred yesterday. A season in late 70s I was at Busch in bottom of 9th against the Phils with 2 out and Cards leading by 3-4 runs. They could not get that last out and lost. I balled my head off. My parents must have been mortified.

Seasons since the early to mid 80s are just a blur. It is amazing how a certain period of time just gets locked in and becomes baseball or football. The brain is a weird thing.

Since the holidays are the season for kindling the fire of hospitality in the hall, and the genial flame of charity in the heart, I've decided to only hate the Niners this year.

The Rams

that is about it really. I tried to convince myself I hated the others but it just seems to sit in dislike LOL. Why the Rams? Because the Cardinals use to be in St.Louis and the Rams to me are a team nobody ever really wanted. I use to root for the Seahawks when they where in the AFC because they actually kind of reminded me of the Cardinals at the time...ya know-JimZorn and Neil Lomax on two team throwing like madmen....Birds on the helmets....problems winning. Now I still have a special hatred for the Cowboys, Redskins, Giants, and Eagles. Niners? I really don't care one way or the other, yes I want us to beat them because they are in our division but I don't sit watching the game going "I hate these guys."

I agree. I still hate the Cowboys though. They're the only team in the NFL I love to see fail, and I'm not like that about anyone or anything else. I've just never liked them.

If you don't hate the Hawks the most you haven't been watching NFC West football the last 4 years.

I pull for any team in the division. Divisional pride. Sometimes I hate the Cards more than any other team in our division. I love the Cards, but they pee me off.

StL (because we play them in 2 weeks) and because I have to be in StL to visit relatives and defend the Cardinals in early Jan, just after we play them.

Like some others here, I still hate Dallas more than any team in our division.

And, despite living in NJ, I still respect Giant fans as much as I do those who root for any other NFL team. But I still root hard for the Giants to lose each week, so I won't have to open the Monday paper (especially after a Cardinal loss) and have to read a lot of tabloid malarky about the budding Gints dynasty.

1) S.F. I hate them as much as I hate any team in any sport. I was an L.A. Ram fan growing up, so I learned to hate the 49ers from an early age. Even when they suck, their fans look down on other team's fans like they are some kind of NFL royalty or something. I despise them.

2) SEA I dislike them because they are our division rival. Otherwise, I would probably not care one way or the other.

3) STL Same as Seattle, although I will always harbor resentment towards Georgia Frontiere for moving the Rams out of L.A.

I hate the Rams the most, mostly because of Leonard Little and the ilk.

I've started to notice a certain theme with your avatars. Didn't you used to have "Chesty" Puller there, and now you have another "chesty" image?
