TCU and Texas women's basketball will battle later tonight for a spot in the Final Four.
It's a meeting between two programs that spent years playing each other in the Big 12. Texas owns a 53-4 all-time record against TCU, but these aren’t your parents’ Horned Frogs. TCU is enjoying the best season in school history and has beaten Fairleigh Dickinson, Louisville and Notre Dame in the NCAA Tournament.
At 77.7 points per game, TCU entered this past weekend ranked 22nd nationally in scoring offense. But the Horned Frogs won’t be the highest-scoring team that Texas has faced this season. The Longhorns have already played 12 games against No. 1 Tennessee (87.5 PPG), No. 4 LSU (85.5), No. 5 Oklahoma (85.4), No. 6 Notre Dame (85.1), No. 7 Vanderbilt (83.3), No. 11 Maryland (81.0), No. 12 South Carolina (80.8) and No. 15 Alabama (79.3).
