The Gamecocks and Terrapins played early last season, a 114-76 South Carolina win on Nov. 12, 2023.
South Carolina vs. Maryland will broadcast nationally on ESPN. Courtney Lyle and Carolyn Peck will call the game at Legacy Arena in Birmingham, with Kris Budden reporting courtside. Streaming options for the game include FUBO, which offers a free trial to new subscribers.
Greenville News reporter Lulu Kesin's prediction: South Carolina 77, Maryland 65
Look for a close, physical game where Staley's team is tested but prevails with fluid offense and disciplined defense.
