Earlier in the evening I had thought about posting a thread about what was the both the #1 album and song on the charts on the day you were born, however, I came across this interesting link during my research.....

I know several have included their (I assume) actual DOBs in their profiles, so I believe many wouldnt be hesistant to "show their age" here.... :D

Anyways.... here's the link you can access the following information and certainly please share if you're so inclined:

http://www.thisdayinmusic.com/member/birthdayno1.php

DOB: 12/15/1976:
US-Tonight’s The Night (Gonna Be Alright) - Rod Stewart
UK-Under The Moon Of Love - Showaddywaddy

Disclaimer: Since the UK & US charts didnt begin until 1952 and 1955 respectively, so if any one of you was born before those respective years they suggest you enter in your 18th B-Day.....

U.S. Shadow Dancing - Andy Gibb (Also was with Bee gees)
U.K. You're The One That I Want - John Travolta & Olivia Newton John

Yep I'm a disco baby. Also I guess a grease baby too since that travolta, olivian newton john song was in the movie grease. It also was used and parodied in the relatively recent film "The Guru" (cute movie with Heather Graham).

I guess it's ok.

I must admit that I don't believe I've ever heard of Showaddywaddy before I found out that they had the #1 UK song on the day I was born and I must say from judging from this picture of them (taken in '76) that I dont feel I've "missed-out" on anything.....

Although, I should check that song out for some "S&Gs"! :D

Okay.... I just accepted my own dare and let's just say.... Here's the link to the MP3 of "Under The Moon of Love" and please be prepared to rock....I wish I had known about this song a lot sooner..could have possibly made such a major profound difference of my life!

Just kidding... probably the worst song I ever have heard in my life... even worse than "We Built This City"... okay...I wouldnt go THAT far! :D

I don't think that I have ever heard the US #1, but I certainly can't say that about the UK #1.

I think

the Nilsson song was a Badfinger song first. Then,I believe, it was John Lennon who had his buddy Nilsson copy it.
