I want us to retain Campbell, Jones, Swearinger and Jefferson... we know those guys work and makes no sense spending any money outside of the organization on defense till we take care of business with our own

Jimmy G for our 1st

In seriousness -- i dont like this idea for one reason: if there is anyone in the NFL who is unsentimental and will favor the cheaper, younger player over the more expensive, older player if the productivity is even close --- its Belichek

if he lets Garraoplo go via trade or FA -- its because he has concluded he cant play

BS. It's because he can't keep him! What are they gonna do after 2017 franchise tag him? Or I can hear Bellicheat saying this, "hey Tom will you please go ahead & retire so we can keep this kid I spent a 2nd rounder on"? Lol

I swear you guys crack me up. Everyone here wants a QBOTF & when you get an opportunity to draft or trade for 1 you guys run for the hills. I've got news for you, the Cards are likely sunk after next season if they don't roll the dice anyway. It's time to pull the damn trigger!!! With JG or AJ they don't need grooming, they're ready to play!!!

I heard that they are also high on Jacoby Brissett on their roster... they just can't keep them all

Same logic used for Kevin Kolb. Andy Reid was trading him because he was going to be a free agent. Turns out Reid was trading him because he couldn't play.

They can keep Garrapolo through 2017 cheaply.

Richard Sherman from the Seahawks for a 5th round pick...seems fair...

Pull him out of their scheme and see how he does. IMO I've seen him get beat quite a bit in man, but 3-deep where he gets to cover a deep portion of the field and not worry about underneath, he's been a monster for Seattle.

I would like to see the Cards send a later round draft pick to the Jets for Brandon Marshall. The Jets are re-building and he's probably not in their plans.

That's a great idea... Although I'm not sure what his contract looks like, but we need a big WR on the outside!

If we could trade a later pick for any solid vet at WR, CB, ILB, C or OG I would be in favor.
