No Boldin jerseys in L or XL?? They have M and XXL (which is a tent even on on a 300 lb guy), but no L or XL. They said their manager is on vacation for the rest of the month and to call back june 30th or july 1st to check status on any new orders. Frustrating.

Any ideas on other places in town to pick up a jersey?

NEWS FLASH: The Cardinal team shop blows.

I wonder if the team shops for other squads have fleets of the jerseys for their #1s. I know my buddy who was a Giants fan had his Shockey jersey a month after the draft.

Exsqueeze me, but XXL aren't all THAT big...I'm a big guy, but not one of those gigantic-bellied behemoths, and XXL is just right in most clothing tops, including the jersey. Seems to me that XL are created for XL midgets, and not for XL people...XXL should be for the enormous ones, but they're actually for the big guys.

Sorry, it's a sensitive topic, since clothing myself isn't the easiest of tasks, and I'm by far not the worst case out there. I wasn't jumping your case at all, Vince...more the clothing industry's case :D

The new Cards red jerseys are. I'm no smallie myself at 5'10" 220. I usually fit into XL t-shirts and jerseys, but the new cards jerseys are enormous. I have a L Boldin jersey myself (I was looking for one to buy for an out of town ASFN'er this week) and it's loose on me. no offense given/taken I hope :)

"XL midgets," huh? I'm 6'5" and 205-210, and XL's my shirt size of choice (or XL Tall when I can get it). I feel your pain, though; clothes-shopping's not always a walk in the park for tall guys, either. ;)

I prefer XXl as well. The shoulders on xl are too narrow for me.

As for the Team shop. Whoever is in charge of the team shop should be fired.

I heard it was this guy:

You must be registered for see images

Lets get him!! :D

Not at all...I was just venting at the clothing industry. This is, after all, a clothing messageboard, right? :D

I made a trip to Phoenix last weekend and checked 3 stores in the Fiesta Mall (Champs, The Team Store, and another). I asked one guy why they didnt have any Cards stuff and he said why would I want that. He was a Giant fan, and he was unaware the Cards werent in his division any more. He said to check back after the season starts. As for jerseys, all I saw were a few Smiths and Jones, no Boldins. The only items I saw that I bought were a couple of Card hats. On the bright side, I guess I save more money being a Card fan because I cant ever find items I want. BTW, my kid gave me a red house key with the Cards bird logo on it for my birthday lmao (available at Wal-mart)!

I am an out-of-towner so please tell me, is "the Team store" you guys talk about the "Team Store" at Fiesta Mall, or do the Cardinals have one at their facility that might have better selection?

I think he got the job just because his head is shaped like a football.

Not to go :offtopic: but I have to say it is nice to hear about guys complain about clothing sizes! :)

I had a great experience with the shop at the facility, although it was in 1999. Are you guys (Skorp and Vince) talking about the same place?

a ton of stuff from the 1997 season that they still try to sell at full price, the team shop is a sack of crap, the lady said that they are turning it into an office soon, what a joke, you would think that the facility of all places would have gear, but even they are scared of not selling enough merch

That's where I buy all my Cards gear. As a season ticket holder, you get a 10% discount and their regular prices are cheaper than you can get at a sporting goods store. Their selection isn't always the greatest, but they do have jersy's, hats, shorts, shirts, etc.

1. I have spoken to Mark Dalton, the new PR guy about the team shop and I promise I'll speak to the marketing guys this fall.

2. Vince, I have met you. You're no Mick Jagger in size. Are you sure the size you quoted fits you? :p

PM me your mailing address and I will see what I can do. A beer at a game should cover it!

Edit: actually my kid sez they only cost a couple bucks so an old floppy hat will do.

Actually it's a 20% discount that usually makes it the same price of sports authority and Just Sports. Their prices are more if you really check. But regardless, they have a poor selection of gear. I find better gear at Marshalls each August for dirt cheap. I found a toddler SHIPP, yeah SHIPP jersey at Marshalls for $6, and it sReebok and everything! Where are they at the team shop! Another example of how the shop sucks is that Shipp, Boldin, and B.Johnson jerseys showed up at Sports Authority before the team shop which is a joke. And the fact that they don't sell certain items that are on NFL.COM is a joke. Hopefully they will have a huge team shop at the new stadium because I hate the team shop. Oh, and one last thing, one time I was in there with my bro and we looked out the window because the players were practicing, and the old lady said, "Get away from the window! You can't watch that!!!!" Like we were Rams scouts or something. When I paid off my tickets this year I told a different lady that their selection sucked and she agreed. Then she told me it was going to be an office.

I am 5'-7" 243lbs. and the xxxl will only fit me. My 50" chest must cause that. !!! Don't get in front of me once I have a head of steam, it could be dangerous. :) Ha!!!

I like xxxl the best. it allows me to wear a white tee shirt underneath. the Card Jersey.

Hey Vince56 I want a Bolden 81 jsersy xxxl For my birthday. Hint.

I used to get XL's but they hang off me like I'm wearing a moo moo.
I got a L Boldin and it fits perfect. You never know though, I have an XL Plummer that's ridiculously huge.

Why again am I telling you all this?

Ebay has a ton of them - just type in "Cardinals key" in a search. They are like $3. They also have sets where you get a keychain too or a second key.

Price is about the same as Wal-Mart.

If you don't Ebay - send me a PM & I can get a couple for you and mail them.
