NBA star Kobe Bryant makes his first appearance on Jimmy Kimmel Live, actress Catherine Bell, Tay Zonday sings "Chocolate Rain" (Future Talent Showcase)

Although he is giving him crap about how bad the lakers are..

Uhm, Bell is on a superhot show in Army Wives. Zonday is Youtube famous, which gets a lot of play in the mainstream these days.

And Kobe is the best basketball player on the planet who has appeared on Larry King talking about charity work and is about as huge of an interview anyone can book.

Take off the hatershades, Gee.

LeBron...

Yeah, no. Not quite. Maybe in a few years. Let him learn how to play defense. Even LeBron thinks Kobe's the best player on the planet.

BTW, Kobe's Lakers wouldn't get swept by the Spurs in the Finals. In fact, Kobe's Lakers were 2-1 against San Antonio last season, and the one loss was a two point loss in overtime. And Kobe's team is as bad or worse than "King" James'.

Since this forum has the lame name of Smack Shack, the judges accept this thread as legitimate smack.

Kimmel is my favorite late night show.

Tell me you like Leno and our friendship is over.

I really don't watch any of them anymore. But Conan is my favorite.

TV on DVD for me all the way.

The only thing that gets any kind of regular playtime on my cable box is the news, and ESPN.

I can't believe that I spend so much money on my cable bill, and I don't watch most of it.

Football season is coming; that should help make up for lost time.

Kimmel is freaking Awe-some. Best/second best late night host. Conan is probably better, but Jimmy's shows and interviews are as good.

Our apologies to Matt Damon, we ran out of time.

I think it would great if the celtics traded for kobe without giving up KG, Pierce or Allen.. That would really make Donalds head explode.. Oh, and if they added reggie miller too..

I liked him until the kobe crap... What is up with the softball treatment... Anyone else Kimmel would have called out on the serious issues, even in a humorous way... Harry Potter??? come one WTF?

Kobe doesn't strive for street cred. He wouldn't be talking about soccer, cooking, Harry Potter and his kids if he were striving for street cred.

Marion strives and fails every day to be worth the money he is paid. Or to create his own shot.
