Oh Canada!
A good friend of mine is going to be in Phoenix next week and I want her to pick up a few Cardinal things for my 2 year old son. Where is the best place to find little kid Cardinal stuff? Thanks in advance

Believe it or not, but online stores are better sources for Cards gear than local shops in Phoenix. With the exception of the Cardinals own shop at their headquarters in Tempe, most stores only carry adult jerseys, t-shirt, and hats.

I would recommend the following two places:

www.fansedge.com -- lots of infant to baby stuff
www.cardinalsproshop.com -- lots of stuff. Pick "Children" then "Infant" or "Toddler"

Even the "official" Cards Team shop is a bit dissapointing. It used to be its own shop in its own room at the facility, but now it is more of a hotdog stand. On gameday, the selection is a bit better, but not much better than you would find elsewhere. Hopefully this gets fixed with the new stadium.

I do hope the selection gets better as somebody owes me a Cards cap, and I want the luxury of a few choices.

I have found that Sports Authority carries a decent selection, and that the three sports oriented retailers in Paradise Valley Mall all carry a pretty good selection of youth sizes

Right now, the only new youth sizes are Edge jerseys -- dont know if Leinart will follow soon or not

Edit: I just reread your post, and for a two year old -- the selection will be tough

I do know the sports apparel specialists in the mall do carry some infant / toddler sizes

I don't trust anyone in AZ for a consistently good selection of Cardinals stuff. Its pathetic really. Tonight I was at Petsmart and they had a number of sportsteams leashes and collars. I started cursing to my wife about how they didn't have any Cardinals stuff. Some worker tried to apologize that all the AZ gear sold fast. I bit my tongue instead of calling BS on him because they has all manner of ASU, Dbacks, UofA, and Coyote crap. Its always that way here.

I find SportsAuthority always has something. And the dept. stores are sometimes alright. Dillards and Pennys'.

The online selection I like the best is www.eastbay.com

i was at az mills once and this asian guy had these bad ass crystal things that they had burned imaged into with lasers and if you have a light unerneath it lights up the lazered section. kinda hard to explain but they were really cool and i found 30 teams, the cardinals were not one of them.

Example of how frustrating it can be.

The official Cardinal site had (and maybe still has) an ad on its home page advertising an "official 2006 draft white Cardinal bb cap" with the bird logo on the front. (For some time I'd been looking for a white cap to wear during hot, muggy summer weather in the northeast and this was perfect).

I went to order the cap from the Cardinal Team Shop, but was informed they were out of stock (but yet they were still advertising it!!!!!)

Fortunately - while visiting the ESPN.com website - I saw "official 2006 draft bb caps" advertised there, & that's where I wound up buying it.

It shouldn't be that difficult.
