The biggest event of the PGA Tour season so far is right around the corner with the Masters Tournament -- golf's first major -- nearing the first tee at the historic course in Augusta, Georgia.
For the second time in three years, Scottie Scheffler won the 2024 Masters as he finished 11-under to win by four shots over Sweden's Ludvig Aberg, who ended up at 7-under.
Winning the Masters was just the start for Scheffler, who was born in Ridgewood, New Jersey. The 28-year-old had a historic season, winning seven of 19 events, was runner-up twice and finished in the top-10 in 84 percent (16-of-19) of events while making all 19 cuts in 2024.
The 2024 Masters victory was Scheffler's third win on the PGA Tour in less than a month, as he was also victorious in the Arnold Palmer Invitational and the The Players Championship last March. Scheffler followed it up by winning the RBC Heritage the next week and earned the top spot four more times after that, including taking home the gold medal for Men's Olympic Golf competition in the 2024 Summer Olympics in Paris, France.

From the Masters website, here's what fans can expect to see each day besides the main feed of the tournament if they want to stream on either of these two options:
Odds courtesy of BetMGM as of Tuesday, April 1
Scottie Scheffler: 4/1 (+400)
Rory Mcllroy: +650
Collin Morikawa and Ludvig Aberg: 14/1 (+1400)
Jon Rahm: 16/1 (+1600)
Bryson Dechambeau and Xander Schauffele: 18/1 (+1800)
Justin Thomas: 22/1 (+2200)
Hideki Matsuyama, Joaquin Niemann, Patrick Cantlay and Viktor Hovland: 28/1 (+2800)
Brooks Koepka and Jordan Spieth: 30/1 (+3000)
Despite not having a win on the PGA Tour yet in six starts, Scheffler still enters the Masters as the odds-on-favorite with Rory Mcllroy not too far behind before you start getting into longshots outside those two golfers.
Scheffler nearly came back from a massive final-round deficit in last week's Houston Open, shooting a 63 and finishing at 19-under but fell one shot short to eventual winner Min Woo Lee at 20-under, who claimed his first victory on the PGA Tour.
It shouldn't be a surprise to see Bryson DeChambeau and Xander Schauffele on the list after both golfers finished in the top 10 at the Masters in 2024.
If Scheffler is able to become the first golfer since Tiger Woods in 2001-02 to repeat as champion at Augusta, it would give him his third green jacket in his career, tying him with Phil Mickelson, Gary Player, Sam Snead, Nick Faldo and Jimmy Demaret for the fourth most wins ever in the 89-year history of the Masters Tournament.
