It’s not like it wasn’t warranted after the absolute beat down we received from the Panthers. Just glad the team responded the right way.

Comments about Colt…

After San Francisco: Best backup Cards have had since (fill in the blank).

After Carolina: Colt has always been trash. San Francisco was an aboration.

After Seattle: Best backup the Cards have had since (fill in the blank)

It’s a week to week wave of emotions on this board…lol

The naysayers are still out there. If there are any sports sites that have picked the Cardinals to be in the Super Bowl, I haven't found them. They don't want to believe in this team.

I believe in this team.

So you can bask in the glory of your "I told you so" thread, I want to first offer you congratulations for your graciousness.

Secondly, there are those among us, myself included, who would really like to see our star player on the field of play and are not overly sanguine for the team's chances when he's absent.

All Hail tnmike

How much nay could a naysayer say if naysayer could say nay?

Hmmm. He whooped the Niners the week before and it was completely forgotten about after the Panthers.

There's no balance. It's the same with CJ and others. Have a bad game and they are the worse, complete trash, worst signing. Have a great game and it's the opposite.

Saw it yesterday with Prater. He's been money all year and one bad game and people are dragging him through the dirt. It's silly.

Not defending the Jekyl and Hyde nature of the board only that people had legitimate reason to be pessimistic about our chances this week.

I had faith that the Cards would win, even without Murray, DHop, et al, because the Seahawks really stink. With the missing players the Cards would have put a 40 burger (at least) on them.

I didn't expect McCoy to play lights out, that was a surprise. I have suspended my darkside for the duration of this season, it just looks like something special going on here.

It’s called being a fan. It’s never “ okay” to lose a game. When we do the true fan is going to pick the game apart.
From that point there is the conjecture of truth or blip.

That doesn’t make anybody stupid especially if you’ve watched this team for 30-40-50 and even 60 years. You’ve earn that right.

Yes, many here question McCoys ability along with Kingsbury, Joseph and others after the Panther game. That’s okay. There was a lot of blame to toss around after that performance.

It’s no different than a kool-aid projection that falls short. It’s okay. It’s called being a fan.

I wasn’t so dark on this Seattle game and felt we SHOULD win with a good game plan. But I’ve had my share of crow this year. Know what? IT’S DELICIOUS!

It was just like watching the 49er game, followed by the Panter game. Every time I start to question my opinion on Kliff, he falls off one.

Game Plan. All on Kliff. Just glad he learns sometimes
Exactly. We should still be undefeated. We should have beaten the Packers at home (and almost did minus the last play on offense for us). We are not "lose to Carolina 34-10 bad" even with Colt as our QB. Last week was just dumb coaching that put us in a bad spot to start the game and we never got going or could dig our way out of the hole created. The entire game plan got tossed out the window once we were down 14. Never should have gone for it on 4th and 1 to give them a short field when they were already leading by 7.

I think the players were also bad last week though, not just bad coaching.

Kliff is a damn good coach. He is a huge reason the Cardinals are 9-2.

I feel like that was on the refs. They announced during the previous Seattle drive (I think after a 2 yard catch) that Seattle took their second TO. Kliff seemed to be as confused as me when he realised that after the second victory formation Seattle still had a TO left (I think there was even a picture of him talking to the refs about it), because otherwise it would have been over with 3 victory formations as there was less than 1:20 left on the clock. I mean in this situation it didn't really matter, but imagine if Seattle was only down 3 points and they get 25 seconds...

That's fair enough. I had my own doubts. But it wasn't down to McCoy. People were 100% out on McCoy having any chance.

I think that was momentum. Players are people and they react to circumstances. I felt like the game plan was all wrong from the start, on both sides, and I think the players felt it too early on and that just knocked them off.

Congrats to Hudson, Colt and the oline working together also. There were some snaps to were some dribblers but solid job running for those 100 yards as team, and attempting to run as well even if it was 2 or 3 yards. Cards had good time of possession, good balance despite the 44 passing attempts. Colt took what the defense was giving him.

They gave Seattle an extra timeout. They took one on our scoring drive to conserve clock. The took one on the short te reception.... Then took two more during our victory formation.
