The Los Angeles Rams kept their Super Bowl window relatively wide open after bringing back quarterback Matthew Stafford this offseason. The team went even further by signing All-Pro receiver Davante Adams to pair with Puka Nacua.

But how close are the Rams to returning to the Super Bowl? Pro Football Focus' Zoltán Buday ranked each team's Super Bowl window ahead of the 2025 NFL Draft. The Rams ranked in the top-10 but despite their offseason moves fell to No. 8 on Buday's list.

"Even though the Rams' defense is built for the future and should be a strong unit for years to come, the length of the team's Super Bowl window depends solely on how long a 37-year-old Matthew Stafford can play at a high level.

"Stafford’s 74.7 PFF overall grade in 2024 ranked 21st among quarterbacks and was his second-lowest grade over the past nine seasons. While the addition of a 32-year-old Davante Adams at wide receiver could help Stafford maintain his level of play, the aging wide receiver does not extend the Rams’ Super Bowl window. An offensive rebuild will be necessary after Stafford’s eventual departure."

The other teams ahead of the Rams were: The Philadelphia Eagles, the Buffalo Bills, the Kansas City Chiefs, the Baltimore Ravens, the Detroit Lions, the Houston Texans and the San Francisco 49ers. The key differences between the Rams and the rest of these teams is the quarterback. Stafford is great, but he isn't as young as he once was, which means the window is a little be tighter than the seven teams ahead of them.

The rest of the Rams' team, though, is forward-thinking. The defensive core is already one of the best in the league and the offense has a solid pieces with Nacua and running back Kyren Williams. And if the Rams can hit on their draft picks, this window will look even better in 2025 and beyond.
