Where is Auburn baseball ranked in USA TODAY Baseball Coaches top 25?

Auburn baseball moved up seven spots in the latest USA Today Baseball Coaches top 25 that was released on Monday.

The Tigers moved up from No. 23 to No. 16 in national polls. It comes after Auburn won its Southeastern Conference opening series over Vanderbilt, 2-1. The Tigers won Game 1, 6-2, before the Commodores split the series with an 8-6 win on Saturday. Auburn, though, closed the series out with a 7-6 win to claim its first SEC series of the season.

Auburn is one of 11 teams in the poll: Tennessee (1), LSU (2), Arkansas (3), Georgia (5), Texas (7), Oklahoma (9), Florida (11), Alabama (12), Ole Miss (18) and Vanderbilt (19).

The Tigers return to the diamond on Tuesday, hosting Alabama State at Plainsman Park for a midweek contest. Auburn then travels to Lexington, Kentucky for its conference series at Kentucky between Friday and Sunday.
