No. 14 Texas A&M (22-10, 11-7 SEC) entered last week as the 5-seed in the SEC Tournament, looking to return to the semifinal round for a consecutive season. Still, after losing to rival Texas in double overtime, the Aggies returned to College Station ahead of Selection Sunday, where they will wait to see their seeding in the NCAA Tournament.

Throughout the season, the focus has been on getting back to the Big Dance for a third straight year to compete for a championship and give all eight seniors, including star guard Wade Taylor IV, a final shot at a deep run in March.

Checking off several boxes, Wade Taylor broke the program's all-time scoring record during A&M's regular season finale road win over LSU, while the Aggies are on track to earn their highest NCAA Tournament seed under head coach Buzz Williams. Heading into Sunday, the Aggies were considered a 3-seed according to most bracket experts, except for ESPN's Joe Lunardi, who dropped Texas A&M to a 4-seed after losing to Texas, facing 13-seed Lipscomb in Denver.

However, Lunardi is one of the only bracketologists who takes conference tournaments into the ranking process. It's also fair to note that CBS Sports' Jerry Palm also predicts that the Aggies will earn a 4-seed, with Wisconsin, Kentucky, Texas Tech, and Maryland winning the 3-line. They are predicted to face 13-seed Yale in Denver.

If we're going off of a gut feeling, Texas A&M will likely be a 4-seed by this afternoon, but as we've seen in years past, anything can happen on Selection Sunday.
