I didn't get to watch the game, but couldn't help noticing that Fitz didn't show up in the boxscore. Did he play or is he injured. I haven't seen any mention of him on here today and figured people would be a bit perturbed if he played and was a complete non-entity especially with the return of the mighty Q to free thing up for him and our other 1st rder Bj. Whats up?

Well Josh hit him over the middle once, only to see Fitz drop the damn ball, another time he was WIDE OPEN, like grand canyon open on the side lines, only to see Josh throw the ball WAY out of bounds over his head.
Why these things happen, I do not know, I only know the devil is behind it.

I had to question that roughness penalty a little. I didn't hear when the whistle blew and Smith went down behind Fitz where he couldn't see him. If it was a late whistle there should not have been a penalty. It looked worse it seems because the other player let up because he could see Smith going down.
Can anyone with a copy of the game comment on the timing of the whistle and the block that was flagged?

That roughing penalty on Fitz was complete BS. He was blocking for his rusher. He thought the play was still on. Its not like he pancaked the guy or anything. This is football, yet its becoming more like "Mom!, Billy won't stop touching me!!!!" Give me a break! That penalty was f@#$ing b#%#****. Bernie Kukar is the Jerry Markbright of today's refs...he wakes up and decides he wants to stick his foot in the Cards' butts!

It seems pretty sad when a young receiver is penalized for blocking.
