Not a lot going on, so here we go, something to kill some time til camp starts.

Matty: He's got some big shoes to fill.

Porter: He and Dockett give us the best trash-talking duo in the league.

Rhodes: He and Wilson give us potentially the best S tandem in the league.

Big Dan: Finally, a plug in the middle to unleash the defense.

Fitz: Nuff said.

Beanie: Stronger, Faster.

Lets hear what you guys think

Interested: Matty Legend. I think he'll be solid so I guess I am excited

but Beanie :D. I expect him to be a monster.

another one for Toler

A lot of presure on the lad this year, but he has all the makings of a decent NFL player :stick:

The rest are pretty obvious Matty and Beanie need good years if we are to win the west again. The D needs to be better than last year to make up for the down turn in offensive points in my book....a + in turnovers would be nice

Matt, Beanie, DRC (is he going to get better or just plateau...I predicted a sophomore slump from him...let's see how he is this year)

Definitely Wells. Very interested in seeing Leinart, but with more trepidation...

All of them! Can't wait until they are all together as a team.

Picking just one I'd say Beanie. He was on Channel 12 (Phoenix) last evening eating steak, yes, eating steak, and doing the weather. You forget how huge these guys are until you see them next to civilians. Can't wait to see what he does this year.

honestly, this is really tough for me to pick. if I MUST pick one, I am going with Beanie. He will break off some huge runs this year, no doubt about it.

On the honorable mentioned/too close to call list:

1. Early Doucet. He was a gamer at the end of the season and the playoffs. He has big shoes to fill, and if he can keep the dropped passes down will have a big year. Maybe even bigger than Breaston.

2. Matt Leinart. Will he become the fiery leader we need under center? Hell, he doesn't even have to be spectacular, as long as he brings the right attitude and steady ability to read coverages in the pocket.

3. The entire defense. We have a ton of guys stepping into the revamped defense. Rhodes, Porter, Washington, Williams, Brown, Toler, all those guys bring huge potential. How will it turn out? We we have the most dominate D-Line in the NFC West? Perhaps...

Brandon Keith - 'cause I'm a dang homer and have been singing his praise to anyone who'll listen.

Dark horse?
Julian Rashad Johnson he's been the forgotten man this offseason with all the activity.
Sometimes it takes a while for it all to slow down.

My two favorites right now, now that Warner is gone: Fitz and Michael Adams. Pure heart and dedication and team first.

Matt Leinart

He has one chance to prove the doubters wrong or he will have a new address in 2011. I've believed in this kid from the day he was drafted & think he will make a very good NFL QB for someone eventually...in AZ or somehwere else. Has he had enough time in AZ? Their isn't more pressure on anyone on the Cards roster this season than #7.

I am excited about the whole football team. I will be watching the offensive line, Wells, & Hightower. I interested to see how Brown does at the left tackle position & Keith at the blind side of Leinart. I have been preaching this all off season. I need to see if Wells & Hightower can hang on to the ball. IMO, those four players are going to be the key to the offense.

I want to change my selections...

Actually, there are so many potential intriguing stories about various players that the story-line might best be reframed: "Which guys on the current rosters are you not all that interested in?

Think about it:

- There's the Leinart story. And we don't know a lot about where Derek Anderson is at. Skelton's raw ability, and Hall's football-smarts.

- Beanie's second year.

- Breaston, Doucet & Roberts in the aftermath of Boldin's departure.

- Faneca's arrival. Is Keith ready? Will Levi cut it at LT? What about "House?" Lutui & his weight.

- Dan Williams' impact. Will Calais step up to a Pro Bowl level? The emergence of Nine-Oh as defensive leader.

- Is Daryl Washington good enough? What's Joey got left? Schofield's rehab.

- How much better can DRC get? How well will Toler plug the vacancy at "other CB?" The Rhodes for Rolle trade-off. What about the rook (Calvin)? Rashad Johnson's development?

Plus the inevitable "unknown" or two (or more) who will come out of nowhere to earn a starting spot & maybe even star.

Every one of those individual stories has the potential for grabbing my gut.

- How much better can DRC get?

By the end of the year, if he stays healthy, teams will only have 2/3 of the field to throw to.

Just from what I have read, and seen he is going to be a beast this year.

I am super excited about Beanie Wells. We have not had a RB of his caliber since Garrison Hearst. And he should be better than him.

#2 would be Early Doucet. I think he will establish himself as the clear #2 receiver this year.
