I'm not really much of a poll dancer, but it seems there are two or three dominant sentiments out there right now in ASFN land, and I can respect them all being a life long Suns fan. If we can put the small run and gun ball aside for a second... wait, that aint going to happen because some folks have said it makes them sick.

The question I ask is a preference question with a few common results I hope we can agree on, like we aren't winning a title or hitting the Lottery in the Draft anytime soon, and that we will probably make the playoffs this year. A lot of the Players in Free Agency weren't drafted #1, but are still being sought after big time, some might even say they are being over compensated due to a lack of talent League wide at certain positions with contract timing and all. We have talent that could develop, please keep that in mind, so trading some of these guys could bite us later on.

1. Accept the cards we were dealt, consider last year a springing board for more to come and stand pat as far as huge Free Agents go that can't run the floor for 48 minutes. Meaning we probably get eliminated in the first round, maybe second, but the young core unit gets the time in (and the cardio)

2. Go hard and find an able'd big body or two. Boozer sounds like the only one left to me that is worth a darn. But I guess Humphries, and other possible trades/remaining Free Agents are in play here. The Suns could get creative and fill our front court with some average to above average NBA players, which would be cool. I don't mind paying for such a Player(s), but I think teams would want some of our young talent in return. I see us getting past the first round if this happens, especially if we find someone that truly fits the fast pace. This could make us more of a draw for future Free Agent acquisitions i some people's opinions.

3. Try and find the center of the universe, we have less chances finding one here.

How about . . .

4. A scoring, rebounding Power Forward of the universe?

Yard sales, nope. Folks personally wanting to come here... not yet. We are an up and comer, not a destination. Who wants to come here on a good deal that suits us? You answer that and we are talking, otherwise we are just throwing pennies down that well.

In a van...down by the river.
If i had faith that Sarver's Suns had a legit chance to lure a top notch frontline FA here next summer(or the summer after that...) then i'd say don't go over-spending now for whatever you can get...but i'm not convinced.

Our frontline with Frye was weak, as of today it's plain bad. I see good talent and a lot of promising young pieces everywhere else on the roster. Hopefully there is a plan to complete this roster sometime in the next two years...and that doesn't mean just adding more scorers and shooters.

I have no idea what the Suns are planning. Time will tell.

I think a lot of people here will be surprised how Len progresses this season with a full blown summer league and training camp. He showed some flashes last year and is a hard worker on the D end. He'll box out and shows good grit down on the D end. Between him and Plumlee splitting some time along with small ball lineups (Markief) when they have leads, they should be OK there, imo.

TJ Warren is the other wild card and can score anywhere w/i 15 ft up to the arc. He should be a viable 7th-8th off the bench vying with Marcus for playing time.

We bring Bledsoe back reasonably and they're in good shape.

How about trading Dragic and both Morri for Love Without resigning assurances from Love.

Because that's what's going to happen if Cleveland won't let go of Wiggins.

I am not promoting it, I am predicting it.

So we gamble that Love will come here and be like "hey Sarver is not as big of a jerk that everyone makes him out to be and McDonough and Jeff are pretty cool guys ...maybe I will stick around" ?

I am not for it. I think we should get assurances from Love. But this is what I think will happen.

I hope to the basketball gods we don't trade Dragic twice.
